Learn to tell the difference between your anxiety and God's voice.

Be still

You can understand and learn to regulate your nervous system and get clear on what's actually happening inside you — so you can notice your thoughts, feelings, and physiological sensations apart from the still, small voice of God.

I'm Marcie Russell, mental health counselor turned somatic Christian coach. I offer individual, couples, pregnancy, and postpartum support — all grounded in the same practice: regulate your nervous system, then get clear on what's actually happening in your mind, heart, and spirit.

The Practice

A body-based path to discernment

Not a formula for hearing God faster — a practice of calming down enough, in your body and your mind, to actually notice what's there.

Regulate

We start in the body. You'll learn what your nervous system is doing when you're anxious, shut down, or spiraling — and simple tools to calm down.

Differentiate

From a calmer place, we notice what you're actually feeling — a racing thought, an old story, your imagination, or something quieter underneath it all.

Discern

We bring that clarity to the real decision in front of you and practice recognizing the still, small voice for yourself.

Who I work with

  • Standing at a career or calling crossroads, unsure if it's fear or God moving you.
  • Walking through pregnancy, postpartum, or another major life transition.
  • Living with anxiety or overwhelm that drowns out everything else, including prayer.
  • Navigating a relationship, marriage, or difficult family dynamic together.
  • Wanting a steadier, more embodied prayer life — not just more Bible knowledge.
  • Feeling disconnected from your body after years of living in your head.
